Made with an SLP
Designed by Haylee Wilson M.S. CCC-SLP, a practicing speech-language pathologist at a clinic in Frisco, Texas, who uses it with the kids she works with.
Haylee wanted to use her own pictures and her own voice in the speech games she plays with kids, and the tools she had charged extra for that. So she designed one around the way her sessions run.
Any deck plays in any game, so kids stay interested while the target stays the same. A quick tap scores each try, and the summary is ready to paste into session notes.
Using it with kids keeps changing the app. Bigger answer pictures, mixing decks in one game and choosing how many questions a game runs all came from her.
Students never get accounts, and no student names are saved. Scores are labeled only with initials or a nickname you type, and they stay on the screen.
Haylee’s dad, Shane Wilson, builds Chirp Cards at Prosper Donkey. Haylee has a free Pro account. Questions or ideas? Email hello@chirpcards.com.
